NEP Group is excited to be ready for growth. We’re looking for an individual with a “go-getter” attitude who is willing to work towards the delivery of the product, in the role of Project manager within the Civil Engineering field.
Minimum Requirements
- Civil Engineering BSc Degree
- BTech or other qualification in Project Management / or similar will be advantageous
- Five years’ experience in project management or administrative assistance
- PMBOK / Prince2 will be advantageous.
Role responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and scope.
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects, and manage project tasks and deliverables
- Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices, and drawing estimates (analysing data as required)
- Provide safety leadership to contractors and participate in ES&H walk-downs, confirming compliance with contract, design, and quality requirements
- Support the development of trends for proposed design changes or any change that impacts the cost and schedule of the work
- Develop and monitor project progress, resolve issues, and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Skills, and Characteristics
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and highly organised
- Working knowledge of subcontractor and SMME management.
- Advanced-level of Microsoft packages experience an advantage
